A prank turns into a tragic accident when a piece of wood laced between two door handles to a boy's washroom traps three Arlington High School students, Brad Boice, William Kelly, and William Horn. The boys brace themselves by placing their backs against the doors with their feet pressing against a brick partition wall. The partition wall gives way and seriously injures the three boys (January, 21). Almost four months later, William Horn, a senior, dies of his injuries (April 11).
